The best islands for snorkeling are Similan, Surin, and Tachai. So we would recommend you stay in Khao Lak of Phang Nga for at least 2 or 3 days or longer. The island trip will take a day.

  1. Similan island: The most popular island in Thailand is not only for snorkeling or diving but also sightseeing. Here’s at Similan, there’re a lot of water creature species and beautiful coral, and many spots for snorkeling. Moreover, you will have a chance to meet the sea turtles here! Besides, there’s a Morgan beach village at Koh Surin, you can discover. The village is so nice. It’s the real place for their living. The Morgan islanders are super friendly. Some of them make a hand-crafted bracelet, you can get this for a souvenir.
  3. Tachai island: The coral is plentiful so there’s a lot of beautiful fish. The ray and whale shark will greet you here because this island is very plenty of coral. Moreover, you can spend a day sunbathing and swimming. The beach is so beautiful with white sand and turquoise seawater. Don’t forget to explore and go trekking on the island as there are many viewpoint spots, that you can enjoy watching the views and taking photos.
